Ability Leadership Project-NC Opens Applications for Next Cohort

ALP-NC is currently recruiting for its next Ability Leadership Project cohort. This is an excellent opportunity to boost your advocacy skills and increase your professional network. Applications for the next cohort are due on October 28th!

ALP-NC is a training program that prepares individuals to be effective advocates at the local, state, and federal levels. ALP-NC teaches leadership skills and techniques to develop positive partnerships with elected officials, government personnel, and other individuals who make policy decisions about services that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities use.

In this class, you will: 

  • Learn how to be an advocate
  • Build the leadership skills you need to advocate
  • Join a group of other leaders working to create change

The Winter Training Cohort will meet from 10-2 pm on:Applications due for ALP-NC 

  • Session A: November 4, 2022
  • Session B: December 2, 2022
  • Session C: January 6, 2023
  • Session D: February 3, 2023

Applications for the next cohort are due on October 28th.
