NCCDD Celebrates Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. So, we asked some of our Council members, "What does #DDAware mean to you?"Check out what they had to say. Want to share your thoughts? Share your video using the hashtag #DDaware and #NCCDDAware or send us an email at [email protected]!

Let's go to the beach! New beach wheelchairs that provide beach access to individuals with mobility disabilities were showcased at A Day at The Beach: Sun, Sand and Fun for All at Fort Macon State Park at Atlantic Beach, NC on March 19, 2016 at 11 AM. The event welcomed families with and without disabilities to participate in the weekend event and celebrate March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

Check out our video below and our photos from the day at the beach!
